We have a good problem here at Montana Whiskey Co. We’ve been very busy bottling our excellent bourbon, but we also have a lot of empty bourbon barrels piling up.

As you may know, bourbon is a whiskey that must be aged in a virgin oak barrel, so once we harvest a barrel, we can’t use it again. Now, the Scotch folks and the single malt whiskey folks, love to used bourbon whiskey barrels to age their whiskey, and in the past we sold them to barrel brokers that supplied them, but things have flattened out, apparently.
